OUR TEAM

Having successfully run Sound On Sound, Legacy, and MSR Studios for more than 40 years, David has had a broad career in audio, from engineering albums to coordinating broadcasts for network TV. After relocating to New Jersey, he has spent the latter half of 2017 building the new Sound On Sound Studios. In 2024, Dave won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal for his work on "How Love Begins" Nicole Zuraitis.

A music performance major and the son of two musicians, Tony has over 40 years’ experience managing some of the top facilities in the country including Sony Music Studios on West 54th Street and Unique Recording Studios. He has also managed numerous Grammy winning engineers, songwriters, and producers.


A graduate of William Paterson University, Dan began working at Sound on Sound Studios as an intern. Now a staff engineer, he has worked with Grammy Award winning musicians and engineers. When he isn’t at the studio he can be found working as a guitar tech.

A graduate of William Paterson University, Kevin has been active in the live music and studio scene for the past decade. He has had the privilege to work, assist, and produce sessions in almost every genre imaginable with Grammy award winning artists and producers. In addition to working at Sound on Sound, Kevin also is an adjunct professor at his alma mater.

A graduate of Temple University, Liv started as an engineer for Bell Tower Music, where she Mastered Jaime Wouters’ album Mistakes. She also worked as an audio engineer for multiple shows at TUTV, the tv station at Temple. After graduating, she joined GD PonderRosa Studios as an assistant engineer.

Focused on the intersection between audio and video, James draws upon his varied backgrounds; from his many late nights behind the console, to his work in film and television post-production, he consistently delivers a unique perspective. Armed with a grease pencil in his ear, and patch cables in hand, he has often fought (and lost to) the Neve Flying Faders system. Whatever the challenge, James always brings his meticulous attention to detail.

Kyle got his start in engineering as a student at William Paterson University. He enjoys collaborating with a variety of artists in the New Jersey music scene and working alongside other collaborators and engineers. This eventually led him to Sound on Sound Studios. In addition to engineering, he often works with artists on production and songwriting.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music with over 20 years of music experience—including classical training at the Juilliard Pre-College Division—Marco has a strong foundation in music theory, arrangement, and ensemble work. Lately, he has focused on producing and recording, having independently created and released original music while performing on multiple instruments. He is all about session organization and supporting artists and engineers in achieving efficient, high-quality results.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Dianna got her start by engineering sessions for her peers. After earning her degree in music production and engineering, she began working at Sound on Sound. Outside of the studio, she enjoys collaborating with artists as a mixing and mastering engineer.

Ryan splits his time engineering in New York and New Jersey. In college he first began working in recording studios and over the years has had the opportunity to set up and assist high profile clients, help construct recording spaces and fix and build gear. From drum tracking to vocal chopping, he's worked anywhere in between producing singer songwriters, tracking punk bands, and working with hip hop artists
