Happy New Year! New Pro Tools HD Accel Systems Installed
With the latest installation of Digidesign's Pro Tools HD Accel
System into Studio A, Sound On Sound now offers Systems in Studios A,
B and D. These systems also run under the Mac OS X (Panther) operating
system and are loaded with plug-ins!

Sound On Sound Recording has announced a strategic alliance with
recording artist/electronic drumming ace Tony Verderosa’s Thwak! Music
to offer original music for commercials on the premises of the world-class
recording company located in the heart of Manhattan. Verderosa, a composer
and executive producer himself, represents a stellar roster of musicians

November 15, 2003:
WOODY ALLEN FALL PROJECT
In October of 2003, Director/Screenwriter Woody Allen shot a scene
at Sound On Sound Studios for his upcoming film project, untitled as
Woody Allen Fall Project 2003. The film is part of a one picture deal
with Fox Searchlight. The film has an ensemble cast starring Radha Mitchell,
Chloë Sevigny, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Will Farrell, Amanda Peet, Zak
Orth, Wallace Shawn, Vinessa Shaw and many others. The scene had been
shot in Studio A of Sound On Sound. Like all of Woody Allen's projects,
nobody is leaking any title or plot details until filming is wrapped.

THE
DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS
Sound On Sound Recording is featured
on the upcoming limited edition CD/DVD of Alicia Keys' new album "The
Diary of Alicia Keys." Footage was shot in Studio A during the tracking
and mixing of the song entitled "Streets of New York" featuring Rakim.
Look for the album this December!
